Komyo Reiki is a path to spiritual development and a way to reach Satori. Komyo Reiki teaching method is mainly based on spoken words - an oral teaching. Each guide is supplemented orally by sharing the Teacher's wisdom. The founder of the system is Rev. system. Hyakuten Inamoto. The system has four levels, with initiation for each grade, as follows :

- Level I - SHODEN
You will learn basic knowledge about Reiki and healing techniques with hands.
You will be initiated into Reiki by 'Reiju' or 'tuning' that will be able to be a Reiki channel. From now on Reiki energy will flow through your hands and achieve healing. This means that you are now a Reiki practitioner (healing) for life.

- Level II - CHUDEN
After you have received Chuden (Level II) Reiju, three 'shirushi' or symbols will be given to you.
Using the first symbol, energy can be concentrated and strengthened.
Using the second symbol a habit (bad or unwanted) may be removed.
Using the third symbol will be able to heal through Reiki a person not physically present ('distance healing').

- Level III - OKUDEN
Okuden ( deep learning) is designed for a Teacher candidate and / or Reiki for practitioners who wish to deepen their Reiki Ryoho understanding and to develop spiritual growth. You will explore the inner teaching of Reiki Ryoho and you will begin to attain a spiritual path to 'Anshin Ritsumei' or Satori (lighting).
You will receive the 4th shirushi or symbol after you received Reiju (attunement / tuning). You will learn how to use the 4th shirushi (symbol).

- Level IV - SHINPIDEN
The level of Master Instructor, in which is presented the mode of implementation and execution of the REIJU (tuning) at all four levels.
The system starts from the tuning methods of Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, similarly with the system Komyo Kai Reiki, not using the methods used in the Western Reiki, such as: Breath / Violet Breath nor the Vital Breath.
It is a system very close to the initial tuning of Usui Sensei.
