Karuna Ki Reiki
is a system that uses the Energy of Compassion (in Sanskrit
Karuna translates by compassion) through various techniques,
meditation and symbols. The system has common roots with
Sai Baba Reiki, Tera May Reiki, Karuna Reiki, uses the
same symbols, but in a different form.
Unlike Karuna, Reiki is not a registered trademark, it
remained an open system, and consequently Independent
Instructors Masters may issue Certificates that attest
completion of courses. |
It is aimed identifying with compassion, the vibration of
this psychologically condition being beneficial to the health
of everyone, as to achieve the best ways of goals. It is the
reason why the system provides a special connection with the
goddess Qwan Yin, the goddess of mercy, of compassion. One
can say that at the basis of all Karuna systems was Kathleen
Ann Milner.
Kathleen Ann Milner: initiated in Reiki I and II since 1983,
became Usui Reiki Master in 1989. During a meditation, a spiritual
superior being, initially considered to be Sai Baba, has attuned
her and Marcy Miller in Zonar symbol. Subsequently, in May
1991, the same superior being send her the Harth symbol and
how to make attunements, as the suggestion to appoint Reiki
Tera May the new system. According to Kathleen's guide, Reiki
is called only one of the healing rays, that of Earth, and
presented the other rays, of Water (Sophia-El), of Fire (Sakar)
and of Air (Angeliclight).
Vincent P. Amador developed techniques of using Karuna energy
and Karuna symbols, and techniques of meditation, which he
grouped in the system Karuna Ki, the system or (http://www.light-reiki.co.uk
) is a "path of compassion", not " the action
of compassion", as Karuna Reiki is defined, William Lee
Rand's system (http://www.reiki.org).
Master Amador focuses on the system, and in teaching and use
of Usui Reiki, on simplicity and intuition.
