Principles of Usui Reiki

The idea of healing through 'laying on hands' is archetypal, even as a mere gesture of consolation and compassion. All, since ever, were tempted to resort to it, and sacred or profane texts mention the successes achieved by therapists since ancient times.

Like many other qualities and natural gifts, the human ability to receive energy from the universal source and forward it to where it is needed more was reduced in time, so Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki as we know it today, who lived in the late XIX and early XX century, tried to pass this healing capacity to his fellow.
From the biblical method by which Jesus healed his contemporaries and taking into account the Buddhist texts to which he had access, then passing through his own mystical experience of twenty-one days, Mikao Usui reached the level of knowledge and personal progress necessary to see the answer to his questions.

REIKI USUI COURSE SEQUENCES

To become a master, the one who starts on this road has to pass through several steps / levels.

Level I: after attunement, the practitioner can be treated by hands-on healing, for himself, as auto-healing or for others.
The hands-on method is simple and intuitive, the principle is of up-down, watching the chakras, on the front and back body. Also the hands are applied on the painful places.

Level II: after attunement, the practitioner receives the first Reiki symbols, with which help he can activate his palms for greater efficiency and make healing also by realizing and viewing the symbols in certain well-defined points. Also, the symbols allow cleaning the rooms of negative energies, harmful, cleansing and energizing the food, but also sending the light at a distance, creating fields of protection.

Level III: after attunement, the practitioner receives new symbols and learn additional techniques.

Level IV/Master: after attunement, the new master may in turn make others attunements / 'tunings'.
After each attunement, follows a crisis period of healing, purification, with a duration of 21 days, in which the practitioner must do his daily auto-healing and practice a balanced system of life with a lacto-vegetarian menu.
